I never thought that I would actually stay up this late to work. My days are quite simple and really repetitive.

The day starts of with a quick breakfast, shower and checking my email. After that it's the trip to the University by bus. Have classes until 06:00 pm. Take the bus home. Get in front of my computer, check email, check various community sites. Eat dinner. Work on personal or commissioned projects. Call girlfriend (if I'm not spending the night at her place). Work a little bit more. Check email and the community sites. Go to bed.

This is my life. Sometimes I hate it and sometimes I love it. I just really need a change right now, something exciting that motivates me. Don't know what it is yet though.

I also have this problem with creativity, it works great for personal web design. But for digital art and/or web design for other people just isn't working. I need a muse!

I guess that my question today is: How do you get your inspiration back when you're stuck in a loop?

Hey man! I really know how you feel, cause it's like mine. I have so many things to think about that i just want to do something else... When it gets to much, the brain just turn and want to run away!

I found this on DYT, How Graphic Designers Can Overcome Their Creative Block and Get Inspired
I have not read it yet cause i'm not that person who read a lot, but i know you are more that person, so take a look and hope it get better!

I sleep, I listen to music, I do ANYTHING that has NOTHING to do with design what so ever. Go out with my friends, just break the daily routine that you're normally in and do something else.

That usually gets me fired up and when I come back from a weekend with my friends or relaxing, I find myself ready to work again and all these new found ideas.

Sometimes, you need to recharge.

@Tarona, I see what you mean. I really need a break from all of this, too bad that my school doesn't allow this to happen. Haha. I need to work with the school project at least a couple of hours a day.

I know this is an old article, but I have a great solution to this. I was stuck for weeks and didn't know what to do to get my inspiration back.

That's when I figured I needed to do some kind of drastic change, so I got out and cut my hair. I had looong hair, probably over 1 meter. And that really did it for me. I got it all back and work like never before.

@Joel Helin, Thanks for the inspiration mate, I'll try to do something drastic about it. :)
