I've had this Ipod for a while now and I thought that it was time for some feedback for those people who are thinking of getting one themselves.
I ordered it from the apple store online and got it the day after. They usually deliver the goods home, but they called me up and said that they could deliver it to the university (which was great because I didn't really want to take the bus home to sign for it).
I was stoked, finally a mp3-player that would get me the space I needed for all my albums in Itunes. I cut the day short and took the bus home.
Everything worked out fine there, hook it up to my iMac was no problem at all. And the interface in Itunes couldn't be easier. Simple and easy, like it's supposed to be. Dragged over all my albums to the iPod without any problems what so ever.

I can't find one negative thing to say about the Ipod really. Maybe the ipod headphones. They kinda sucked and they had really low volume. Bad quality. I would recommend buying new ones.
Other than that. I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone. If you have any questions about it, just write me a mail or comment on this post.

Hello Alexander.
I actually switched from my iPod 4gb to a Sony-Ericsson W910i. I really liked the idea of phone and mp3 in the same shell. And it seemed like the best option since iPhone is unavailable in Sweden (at a reasonable price).
I must say that it's a very nice site you got yourself here. Good luck with your studies and projects, I'll keep an eye on you.
Ha det!
I actually feel the opposite, I'm a bit worried about having mp3 and phone combined, the battery time must be annoying.
I like to separate those two, so I can listen to music without worrying about the battery time on the phone.
I actually have a black 80gb classic, as well. I picked mine up in early october. I have it integrated and fully controlled by my kenwood car stereo, so thats what i use it for most of the time. Unfortunately, I've filled it up already. (I'm a former dj with a pretty decent sized collection)
It's a pretty decent mp3 player. My screen pushes in a little sometimes, but other then that I can't complain. I've had several mp3 players over the years and decided to finally go all out with an iPod.
I had just that problem with my iPod. It lasted for about 50 minutes tops. But I guess that's what you get when buying them 2nd hand.
It's been no problem with the phone. I've never had to charge it at work, just when I go to sleep so nothing there has bothered me yet.
@James, yeah I did the same thing as you. I love it!
@Joel, yeah that's probably it. Hmm maybe something to think about then. I guess I'll wait for the iphone to arrive in Sweden ;)
I'm def looking to get one now, my iPod space is slowly coming to an end plus I'm using the old skool video iPod from back in the day. The new iPod has the new snazzy interface which draws me nearer to the apple store : ).
I too had an iPod once, the mini. I liked the interfaces, the designs, I hated the headphones, basically everything you don't like.
But the thing I really missed with my iPod was the clarity and depth of the music. I have a Sony now ( the NW -A808B ) and I feel the music, it has bass, depth and I hear every single sound in the music, as where with the iPod I did not.
Still.
Great product ;)
@Tarona, I can actually agree with you on that subject. :)
I would be very surprised if the quality of the sound is affected by your choice of MP3 player rather than your headphones. ;) You can tweak up the bass or treble on an iPod if you'd like, by the way, but keep in mind that it'll require more battery to play.
