Cool idea, but totally ripped off of http://twingly.se/ScreenSaver.aspx (especially the visitor statistics).
The video presentations were cool. I wonder when Silverlight will get more widespread adoption and use so we can get HD quality (though I think the new version of flash has support for that as well).
Irregardless I think it's awesome, thought that's really only visually. Navigating the globe sometimes gets annoying =/ but CU is still quite amazing, I couldn't do that stuff so I bow to them.
@Fredrik W, Haha I didn't even know that. Yeah I*m thinking of doing the same thing when I get to Hyper Island. Video Presentations is def more personal.
@Kristopher, Did you know that almost all of them were beginners at flash and actionscript?
Just to be a bit picky, 'irregardless" isn't a proper word. It's a double negative which is commonly misused (by English people as well).

:)
@Alex actually I'm not surprised. From what I've understood it's very common for people at hyper island not to know as many programming languages and technologies, but they learn it as they go when they work with projects that require them to utilize different technologies. A great way to learn in my opinion.
It's pretty cool nevertheless (is this used right?).
Seems like a really great place to learn and "grow".
I need to learn some serious actionscripting too to optimize flash dev.
@Fredrik, yeah I totally agree with you. It's the best way to learn.
@Antonio, I think that it's used right. I just got the AS 3.0 Lynda video tutorials. Great way to start if you don't know any actionscript. I have a background in a couple of programming languages so it's been going pretty easy for me.
I'm not really into flash, but I sure as hell would like to learn. Bought a book tbout CSS the other day, but I haven't got the time to read anything yet. Maybe a good book about flash might do the trick?
