I've been looking for a people who use 3d Studio Max with Bootcamp on their Intel Macs. I've seen a couple and people seem to have problems with it. The thing is that I love 3d Studio Max, and now I have to work in Cinema 4d to do my 3d work.

The software isn't that important actually, as always with 3d it's the renderer that's the main thing. And there isn't that many renderers that go with Cinema 4d and Mac. There is Maxwell renderer. And I guess that's it.

I've learned that Cinema 4d renderer is called Advanced Renderer/Mental Ray and I've seen some really good renders using it. But nothing compares to Vray.

Do I have to give up my dreams of working in 3d Studio Max?

Well, my girlfriend uses 3DS Max in Windows in her macbook with bootcamp. But if you like C4D and you're not that 3DS "addicted", you can use vray for C4D too.

It's out for sometime now, if you want to send me an email and we'll talk about it.
