I'm moving from the Wacom Graphire 4 A6 to the Wacom Intuos3 Wide A5. And it feels really good. It was quite pricey for a poor collage student. But it's going to be worth the money. The Graphire 4 wasn't good enough on many levels. The pressure with the pen just didn't feel right and the A6 format was too small for my 24" screen.
It took a while to learn how to use a Wacom tablet. The thing is that the pen position is relative to the one on the screen. So if you have your pen pointing on the top right corner, the mouse cursor will be in the top right corner. So it's a tad different from working with a mouse.
But I got to say that I love it, it just feels so natural after a while, the pen is easy and light. I work very fast with it without any problems, it's also very ergonomic. So what do you guys prefer? Mouse or wacom? or both?

Intuos3 A4 for me. Much more convenient when you get use to it.
I haven't been able to use a tablet yet, I've been wanting to...but man I can only imagine how amazing that could be....
In what way do you use the graphic tablet ?
I'm considering to buy a tablet...
@Stephan, I use for everything actually. Mostly when working in Photoshop and Illustrator doing my graphical work, design, webdesign or fix up some shots from the camera, but it works really well when just surfing the net, much easier on the hand.
I'll try to use it when I get more into 3d too.
Okey, thnx !
