Do you ever feel that you've have a too serious blog? Well I do. This blog is a personal blog with personal thoughts about almost anything I feel to write about. So I've decided to make it more personal. Make it more artistic too maybe. Right now it's pretty minimalistical in a gridsystem kind of way. Which is not bad. I just look at blogs like Matt Brett and Veerle and realize that they have more a personal look on their blogs. They communicate their choice of music, book, movies and video games. It's all very personal. But they still publish posts about design/web related subjects.
So I've decided to make this blog a little bit more interesting both for my friends online, friends irl and family. If I'm moving to another country it would be a good move for my family to be able to see what I'm doing. I also need more pictures. I'm too lazy for stuff like that. But that's going to change now. I've decided to be a better blogger.
So be prepared for some changes here or a complete overhaul. But I need inspiration. Give me your favorite blogs in your rss reader!

Nice move! I've had theese thoughts exactly about half a year ago, and it is more fun that way. I think most of your friends will enjoy it, and your online audience.
If I'd give you my most honest opinion, I think it all lies in how much you post. You're frequency is not the highest around, and it's more like announcements when something big is happening. Maybe if you'd post about smaller things happening too. That's the best tip I can give you, because we're interested in what's going on! :-)
Yeah I understand what you mean Joel. I don't want to get too personal too. Haha.
It would be cool to see how youre doing if youre moving to the US..
And i certainly agree with Joel on the amount of updates, keep it healthy =)
I feel ya' Alex about the personal look, I kinda' compromised in my new look, just need some tiny details fixed =x
How's the status on the WK Internship? =o
I don't know until after the interview. I'm going to Portland the 20th of September.
Well that makes sense! Best of luck on that.
Also, I'm currently in my Flash: Adv. ActionScript 3.0, and my professor showed your online portfolio as one of the flash-portfolios– thought you'd like to know that you got some kudos from Parsons =D
Haha. Sweet! That's great to hear!
I just found your blog. I've struggled with this as a blogger. You want to personal, but at the same time you want to be professional. You have to draw the line somewhere.
Funny, I ran into your blog for the exact same reasons you are looking for. What I see in successful blogs that balance their personality and professionalism, is a little bit of humor and just being yourself in your postings. I appreciate those blogs more. A good example of this is the Big Noob.
