That's right, my phone is now bits & pieces. So what happened? I went for a walk with Cecilia (girlfriend) and I'm the kind of guy who can't stop throwing it between my hands while walking. I don't know why I do that, it's just weird, I just need to play with things sometimes. I don't even notice it. Back to topic, you can guess what happened, I missed. Dead phone and I'm now actively looking for a new one to replace the old one.
Suggestions? I can't buy iPhone. I would love to but I can't buy it in Sweden because I'll have to sign up with the swedish mobile operator Telia for at least 12 months and that would be stupid since I'm probably moving to Portland. So the iPhone will have to wait.
What phones do you have?

Oh, You shouldn't even ask: iPhone ;)
Buy it unlocked in the EU (they were selling them in Italy, dunno about Swe), its gonna be more or less what you would pay with the At&t subscription (plus deposit - cause you won't have any credit history in the US, plus recession fee).
Let me say it again: iPhone.
Haha, yeah well. They don't sell them unlocked here in Sweden yet. Sucks. I guess I need to buy me a phone in between the iPhone buy.
I wish I could help but I have no idea about phones in the UK ._. I recently purchased the 3G and it's pur-dee. >_> Not sure why people bitch so much...
IPHONE.
Im sure you can buy one, not at a officially store. BLACK MARKET haha!

I have the Sony Ericsson c902, very nice phone and i still got some iphone -ness because ive got the ipod touch next to it =P
I've got the iPhone and it's lovely. But I've always had a Sony Ericsson crush!
Just don't get one of those touch screen with a pen super-high-tech ones. It seems that the more advanced it gets, the wors the quality is...
I haven't been very impressed by the newer lines of sony ericsson phones. If an iPhone isn't an option, i'd go with a Nokia.
My suggestion might be a little late, but you seem kind of keen about the iPhone (which I understand, I got one), so my recommendation would be to buy something cheap that does all the standard features you need, so you can make the switch when you're ready. It won't cost much and don't sign up for it so you can enter a deal with a new company any time when settled down.
That's the best advice I can give you. Hope it helps.
