Alexander Radsby - The Kingdom

I just graduated the University! I've been super busy the last two months with the final degree project and the actionscript class. I just can't believe that I'm done.

I've also applied for Hyper Island. And I've been accepted to the recruitment days. So I'll probably be accepted to the school after that.

Swedishfika.com is back up and running too, so it's all going well. I'll write soon again.

The University

We got 10 weeks to finish our web project. We got a good client and we are supposed to make 2 media news sites. I think that we just hit the jackpot. We were the only group to get this kind of assignment, it's going to be written in php5. And I have to make the design for both sites. It's going to take a lot of creativity. Fun stuff! I'll keep you updated with screenshots and stuff later!

Life

Being this busy with school and everything has some negative sides to it too. I see much less of my girlfriend which bothers me a lot. But other than that, life's good. Could be better but good enough. I guess that I just feel that I want my life to start. My real life as a designer somewhere.I'm getting tired of the fact that when I start a new school, I get new friends and 2 years later I lose them. I have to start all over again when I attend Hyper Island...

Before I get into the new year I thought that I would make an entry about the year 2007. I would probably say that 2007 was the year of learning new things.

Personal Life

I would say for personal life, it hasn't changed that much. I love my girlfriend and she loves me, it couldn't be better actually. I've gotten a whole bunch of new friends. Mostly through the university and they are close friends now, we talk about everything and we solve the mysteries that comes with web development together. I also managed to get a few new friends through my old high school.

So friendwise, very rich year.

I never thought that I would actually stay up this late to work. My days are quite simple and really repetitive.

The day starts of with a quick breakfast, shower and checking my email. After that it's the trip to the University by bus. Have classes until 06:00 pm. Take the bus home. Get in front of my computer, check email, check various community sites. Eat dinner. Work on personal or commissioned projects. Call girlfriend (if I'm not spending the night at her place). Work a little bit more. Check email and the community sites. Go to bed.

Wow finally, it took me about 4 days to finish this site. Not too long though. There's still some stuff that needs to be done and it will probably look really experimental here. I guess I can add a note about it or something like that.
