I'm moving from the Wacom Graphire 4 A6 to the Wacom Intuos3 Wide A5. And it feels really good. It was quite pricey for a poor collage student. But it's going to be worth the money. The Graphire 4 wasn't good enough on many levels. The pressure with the pen just didn't feel right and the A6 format was too small for my 24" screen.
It took a while to learn how to use a Wacom tablet. The thing is that the pen position is relative to the one on the screen. So if you have your pen pointing on the top right corner, the mouse cursor will be in the top right corner. So it's a tad different from working with a mouse.
But I got to say that I love it, it just feels so natural after a while, the pen is easy and light. I work very fast with it without any problems, it's also very ergonomic. So what do you guys prefer? Mouse or wacom? or both?

This is not like me (I'm lying), yesterday I decided to buy the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the Wireless Mighty Mouse. Yeah I already know the mighty mouse sucks, but I really fell in love with the 360 scroll and the Mac look.
So why did I do this, well I spent my weekend at a friend who is currently attending Hyper Island. When we arrived at his place I fell in love with his setup, it was probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my whole life. It was straightforward sexy.
While trying not to hump his desk when he was in the room, I thought to myself that I could do this as well, I might not have a Macbook Pro, an extra Apple Cinema Display and a huge Wacom Intuos3 Tablet. But I have a iMac 24" and the usual setup Apple Keyboard and a Mighty Mouse. Both with non wireless.
So when I got home I bought both wireless. And I'm already thinking of a Macbook and a new Wacom tablet.
Soon.. soon I will have the perfect setup...
